Formerly, Senior Legal Counsel for the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority for 8 years as primary litigator for regulatory insolvency proceedings and as lead legal for policy and regulatory oversight of Banking, Funds and Investments & Securities Divisions.

Formerly, Head of Regulations and Operations for Ras Al Khaimah International Corporate Centre (RAKICC, UAE) instrumental in the merger of RAK Investment Authority IBC-Offshore & RAK Free Zone Offshore registries.

Formerly Senior International Counsel and Prosecutor in Financial Crimes, Criminal Asset Forfeitures and Confiscations and Mutual Legal Assistance and Cooperation with International Standard Setters and Regulators as primary liaison to the UK Commonwealth Secretariat Contact Network.

A Professional with a unique combination of skills and strong knowledge of international business companies’ regulatory frameworks, financial services (including Fintech) and financial products, as well as specialized expertise as a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and FATF trained Legal expert examiner. Also certified in FATCA & CRS reporting and recently obtained Fintech Certification at Oxford University/Said Business School, UK.

Mr. Mohammed Iqbal Belath

Mr Mohammed Iqbal Belath has worked for over 40 years in the Banking/Finance Industry in Mauritius and has gained international exposure through serving different roles. He served as Second Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritius (BoM) for over 3 years, with overall responsibility to overview the operations of the Bank, together with the First Deputy Governor. Mr Belath was also an Executive Board Member of the Central Bank, member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) and member of the Statistics Board.
Mr Mohammed Iqbal Belath is a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee and he was appointed on 20th September 2019.

Mr. Robert Green

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

Mr. Green has 40 years of experience in international banking with extensive knowledge in risk management and governance. He held several positions at Standard Chartered as Head of the bank's credit review function, Head of Internal Audit for the corporate banking function, Head of Credit Policy, Regional Risk Officer for India and South Asia, Senior Regional Credit Officer for South and South East Asia, and Chief Risk Officer Private Bank and Wealth Management, retiring in 2012. Mr Green is a graduate of Cambridge University.
